Winter Brawl 2024 Press Tour: Final Stop in Providence this Friday!
PROVIDENCE, RI – After stops in Stamford and New Britain, CT, followed by Somerville, MA, CES Boxing’s Winter Brawl 2024 press tour ends where it all began for CES, in their hometown of Providence, Rhode Island.
The press conference takes place at Patrick's Pub on Friday, January 26, and will feature Rhode Island boxers in action at Mohegan Sun Arena on February 3, including featherweight prospect Ricky de los Santos, undefeated lightweight Alejandro Paulino, and middleweight prospect James Maner. Amateur standouts Aiden Balletto and Adrian Paredes, who will participate in the 'Jimmy Burchfield Classic Invitational', will also be on-hand.
Providence's Ricky de los Santos (11-1, 3 KOs) will be fighting for his first professional title when he takes on Nathan Martinez (8-2, 2 KOs) for the vacant WBC USA Silver Featherweight Championship.
Highly touted lightweight prospect Alejandro "El Abusador" Paulino (15-0, 13 KOs) is based in New London, CT, but trains out of the 'Big 6 Boxing Academy' in Providence. 'El Abusador' looks to keep his undefeated record intact when he faces tough Texan D'Angelo Keyes (17-3, 11 KOs) in an 8-round bout.
Middleweight James Maner (4-0, 2 KOs) will face fellow undefeated prospect Miguel Torres (2-0, 2 KOs) in a 4-round contest. The 28-year-old was born in Providence and lives in Johnston, RI.
In addition, CES MMA will use the special occasion to announce CES MMA 76, which takes place at Foxwoods Resort Casino on February 23rd. Helping announce that show will be Cranston's newly minted CES MMA Lightweight World Champion Gary "Batman" Balletto Jr. and UFC veteran Jorgan de Castro.
