Irish-American legend Micky Ward – a Lowell, MA, native and former world-title challenger who’s the subject of the 2010 film The Fighter – will be in attendance to pass the torch to the 6-foot-2, 21-year-old Hogan, who is now 10-0 as a pro with 10 KOs following a decorated amateur career.

In his lone appearance with CES Boxing in October of 2020, the then 2-0 Hogan stopped veteran Charon Spain in the fourth round of their scheduled six-round bout. Hogan returns for his official promotional debut Friday, June 24 at Ballys Twin River Casino Hotel in Rhode Island, his first fight since a first-round knockout victory against Vincent Floyd in Massachusetts on February 12.

Under the guidance of his father, Richie Hogan, who nicknamed his son “Frank the Tank,” Hogan began boxing at the age of 11. With more than 200 amateur bouts under his belt, he won two international amateur titles in Canada, six national championships, a gold medal at the 2019 New England Golden Gloves, and finished third in the U.S. Olympic Trials in 2019 before making his pro debut a year later. Hogan is also a member of the Iron Workers Local 7 union.
