MURPHYS BOXING RE-SIGNS GREG VENDETTI TO A LONG TERM CONTRACT.

FAN FAVORITE GREG VENDETTI LOOKS TO FIGHT THE BIGGEST NAMES IN THE SUPER WELTERWEIGHT DIVISION.

BOSTON, Mass. - Murphys Boxing is happy to announce we have re-signed Super Welterweight Greg “The Villain” Vendetti (23-4-1 12 KO’s) to a long term contract.

Vendetti is coming off a dominate decision win in his last fight on September 24th, where he won the WBC USNBC Silver Championship against tough veteran Jimmy Williams. Vendetti is no stranger to big national fights, losing a close 12 round decision to Erislandy Lara for the WBA World Championship. Vendetti gave the World Champion Lara all he could handle, while earning the respect of the boxing public with his relentless style.

“I’m excited to re-sign with Murphy’s boxing. I can’t wait to continue to go to war in big national fights”, said Greg. “I love to fight and I want to battle the big names in my division. With my team of Murphys Boxing, my manager Artie DePinho and my trainer Joey Ricciardi, I’m looking forward to our future success”, concluded Vendetti.

Greg Vendetti has been with Murphys Boxing since 2016, where he has fought the likes of Yoshihiro Kamagei, winning a dominate 10 round decision, Michel Soro for the WBA Gold World Super Welterweight Championship and Erislandy Lara, losing a 12 round decision in a close fight for the WBA World Championship. “Greg is a throwback blood and guts fighter. He is absolutely relentless in his attack, with an engine that doesn’t quit”, said Sean Sullivan of Murphys Boxing. “Greg always makes for a great fight, he’s a fan favorite type of fighter, who has no problem going to war against whoever he opposes. Stylistically Vendetti against Danny Garcia is a great fight to be made. We can’t wait for more exciting Vendetti fight nights”, concluded Sullivan.
