Marrero looking for that Victory on the 18th.

Carlos Marrero III (2-6-2) of Bridgeport, Connecticut will be back in the ring on December 18, 2021 at the Webster Town Hall, Webster, Massachusetts fighting for the second time the vacant USA New England Super Light Title against Wilfredo “El Sucaro” Pagan (6-1-1) of Southbridge, Massachusetts. The first fight took place in Worcester, Massachusetts on August 14, 2021 and it was declared a draw. The judges scored the fight 57-57; 58-56 for Pagan and 59-55 for Marrero. After such an exciting bout, these two fighters will be the main event on the 18th and this is a fight you will NOT want to miss especially since the first fight never had a dull moment.

Marrero: First off. Thank you for the opportunity to be interviewed and thank you for the questions.

Pattee Mak: You are very welcome.

Pattee Mak: Before we get into your next fight, originally the judges scored the first bout with you winning and then later recalled the scores. Did you believe you won that fight?

Marrero: Yes. We believe we won the fight

Pattee Mak: How did you feel on the final decision being called a draw?

Marrero: The decision going the way it did is a tough break however we can’t stay focused on the past, moving forward into this rematch we plan on leaving nothing to the judges.

Pattee Mak: After this last fight did you get more fans?

Marrero: Absolutely. We appreciate the fans that supported the first fight and appreciate the ones I gained going into the rematch.

Pattee Mak: What were people saying to you after this fight?

Marrero: To be honest people feel that we won the fight and are excited for the rematch.

Pattee Mak: Moving forward to the fight on the 18th, what is your game plan?

Marrero: To win…. Again.

Pattee Mak: You need that belt around your waist.

Pattee Mak: Since you already fought him once, what steps is your trainer doing differently this time around to train you for this fight?

Marrero: My trainer doesn’t allow me to speak on what goes on in camp but tune in December 18th.

Pattee Mak: What do you want to say to Pagan?

Marrero: He put up a good fight the first time around. We respect him as a fighter but again we believe we won and I believe I’m going to win again.

Pattee Mak: If this ends in a draw will there be a Pagan vs. Marrero III?

Marrero: It’s not ending in a draw. I’m coming back to take what’s mine.

Pattee Mak: This is the first time you are the main event. How does this make you feel?

Marrero: I’m very grateful to be able to be a Main Event and want to thank Rivera Promotions for the opportunity it gives me a drive to put on my best performance that night. It’s a highlight in my career that I worked hard for and preparation has brought me opportunity. The fans will not be disappointed

Pattee Mak: And lastly, I am sure you are selling tickets. Where can someone buy them at from you?

Marrero: Where i am everyday AT THE GYM or to contact me on social media:
