CES Boxing kicks off 'The Brawl at Bally's' Press Tour in Rhode Island featuring Gary "Batman" Balletto III

CES Boxing is hosting a press conference at Lighthouse Bar in Bally's Twin River Lincoln Casino on Tuesday, April 30th to announce a twin title bill featuring fan-favorite Gary "Batman" Balletto III against puncher Laurent Humes.

LINCOLN, RI – CES Boxing will host a press conference at Lighthouse Bar in Bally's Twin River Lincoln Casino on Tuesday, April 30th featuring several Rhode Island boxers who will see action at 'The Brawl at Bally's' on May 11th.

In attendance will be Cranston native Gary "Batman" Balletto (4-0, 2 KOs) and his opponent, Laurent Humes, a power punching light heavyweight sporting a perfect record of 10-0 with 10 knockouts. The pair will meet for the vacant NABF Jr. Light Heavyweight Championship.

While Balletto only has 4 professional boxing bouts under his belt, boxing is a family trade. His father, Gary "Tiger" Balletto, was a destructive puncher who retired with a record of 31-3-2 with 26 knockouts, winning the IBU world lightweight championship along the way. Balletto III is an accomplished fighter in his own right. 'Batman' has trained in boxing, Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, and Wrestling since he was 8 years old. In fact, the 29-year-old is 9-3 in Mixed Martial Arts, winning CES MMA world titles in two weight classes in his last 2 outings.

In his way stands Humes, a 30-year-old who has knocked out all 10 of his foes. The Springfield, MA native began his pro career 3 years ago, but has already garnered a reputation for being a fearsome puncher.

In addition to Balletto and Humes, hall-of-fame, multi-division champion Jaime "The Hurricane" Clampitt (25-6-2, 7 KOs) will be in attendance as she prepares for her 34th professional fight on June 15 in Connecticut.
