CES Boxing Homecoming’ Final Press Conference set for Wednesday in Providence


CES Boxing will host a final press conference for its 'CES Boxing Homecoming' card at 3pm on Wednesday, March 20 at Saint on Federal Hill.


The event is open to the public.

PROVIDENCE, RI – CES Boxing will host a final press conference for CES Boxing "Homecoming" at Saint restaurant in the historic Federal Hill district of Providence on Wednesday, March 20. Scheduled to be in attendance are all of the fighters on the card, as well as hall-of-famers Jaime "The Hurricane" Clampitt and Vinny Paz.

CES Boxing ‘Homecoming’ is a stacked 8-bout card featuring many of the top fighters in New England. The card takes place at Bally’s Twin River Lincoln Casino on Saturday, March 23. Tickets are available at CESFights.com, priced at $60, $80, $155, and $180. Fans who can’t make it to Bally’s can catch the action live and for free on Swerve Combat TV.

The Main Event features a battle for the vacant WBC US Silver Lightweight Championship between undefeated Providence-based prospect Alejandro "El Abusador" Paulino and Brazilian upset specialist Estivan "Tunny" Falcao.

The co-feature is a welterweight showdown between New Bedford, MA’s Wilson "Ill Will" Mascarenhas and wily Dominican Braulio Rodriguez. The New England Lightweight title is on the line when "King" Kevin Walsh of Brockton, MA and fan favorite Matt Doherty of Danvers, MA.

In addition, Jr. middleweight Jalen Renaud of Springfield, MA is in tough against once beaten Josniel Castro, undefeated East Haven prospect Jeff Gonzalez faces two-time former Muay Thai champion Kinjo Espada in his pro boxing debut, Jacob Marrero of Bridgeport meets Dominique Williams, Dorchester native Tevin Regis faces Pawtucket’s Davhon Shelton, and Melanie Costa of Norton, MA clashes with Sarah Click.
