The heavyweights were showcased in the main event when Justin Rolfe of Fairfield, Maine had an easy night against Francisco Neto getting the count during round 1 and then at 1:22 of round 1 the referee stopped the bout with Rolfe getting the TKO victory. Neto looked heavier than his usual weight. Rolfe increased to 2-1, 2 ko and Neto 1-7, 1 ko.
Fan favorite Omar Bordoy of Danbury, CT went the distance against mma fighter Any Aiello of
, Massachusetts. There were no knockdowns, Bordoy controlled the action all 6 rounds in the super lightweight division. Bordoy looked a bit heavier than his normal weight. Bordoy increased to 8-1, 2 Kos and Aiello decreased to 1-4-1.
Eslih Owuso of Worcester, Massachusetts went the distance against Leonardo Ladeira of Revere, Massachusetts. Owuso took control of the fight early and after 4 rounds ended up with the unanimous decision. The judges scored the bout 39-37; 39-37 and 40-36. Owuso increased to 2-0 and Ladeira 0-3.
Super featherweights Julio Perez of Worcester, Massachusetts and Luis Rivera of Springfield, Massachusetts both brought their fans with them. Perez controlled the earlier rounds of this 6 round bout with Rivera coming alive in the 3rd and dropping Perez to the canvas at 1:42 in the 4th while Perez was coming off the ropes. The fight was called off, Dr's jumped in and Perez was taken out of the ring by a stretcher. Rivera gets his 1st KO victory and increased to 5-3, 1 ko while Perez is now 4-5.
Jake Paradise had an early night and probably didn't even sweat at 39 seconds into round 1, the heavyweight had no competition against Joseph Raposo of Woburn, Massachusetts. Paradise increased to 2-2, 2 kos and Raposo 0-2.
Another exciting match up was against Philip Davis of Worcester, Massachusetts and Carlos Marrero of Bridgeport, Conn. Davis got the count in round 2 and cost him the victory with the 10-8 round. Both fighters exchanged punches and this bout could have went either way. The judges scored the bout 38-37 - Marrero; 38-37- Davis and 38-37 - Marrero. Marrero gets the split decision and increased to 2-3-1 and Davis 2-2-1.
Edet Mkpanam of Bedford, Ma probably had one thing on his mind, get the victory and ask his girl friend to marry him. Both came true. The cruiserweight last 35 seconds into round 1 and won by TKO against pro debut Rogerio Dionizzio of Revere, Mass by way of Brazil. Mkpanam increased to 2-0, 2 Ko and Dionizzio 0-1.
