Amateur Boxing "Rumble In Windsor II" to be held on April 21st in Vermont

[Windsor, Vermont] Contenders Gym returns April 21, 2018, with "Rumble in Windsor II" live at the Windsor Rec Center in Windsor, Vermont with an exciting full slate of boxing knockout action. Contenders Gym has gained a reputation for promoting amateur shows that have been called better than the pro's, and this show promises to be no different. While the matches are still coming together, every state in New England will be represented.

Local Rock band "Club Soda" will perform live their famous from classic rock to the current hits on the charts.

Scheduled to appear from the boxing community will be 3x Middleweight champion Kali "KO Mequinonoag" Reis (13-6-1, 4 Kos), local light heavyweight contender Kevin "The VT Bully" Cobbs (10-2-0, 4 Kos) , the New England legend himself, "The Iceman" John Scully (38-11-0, 21 Kos) and up and coming welterweight, Adrian Sosa (5-0, 4 Kos) just to name a few.

Two very special trainer awards with be presented. Jose "Yayo" Ortiz from Old School Boxing out of Enfield, Connecticut and Bobby Russo from Portland Boxing Club will be on hand to accept the award.

Cobbs will be fighting on February 10th in Worcester, Massachusetts and Sosa was victorious when he recently fought on the 26th.

Doors are scheduled to open at 5:00 pm. The boxing action is scheduled to start at 6:00 p.m. The weigh in is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.

Tickets are $15.00 each or four for $45.00 and are on sale now. All concession sales will go to the American Cancer Society
