Miguel Ortiz: “I am feeling great and blessed doing what I like to do. But first of all I want to give the glory to GOD, and give my thanks to Vinny Scolpino for this opportunity and for his help. Now, big things are going to keep coming. There will be much of Miguel Ortiz. It is time to step up the game and keep focus on what I do best”.

Ortiz’s head trainer Cesar Cruz: “I’m really happy that a manager has signed him and have seen in him that he can be a World Champ and I know that he will accomplish it. He is a youth that is dedicated to what he wants, and we won’t rest until we complete with hard work and dedication like always, and I know that he will surprise this entire world. Thank you for those who believe in us. Cruz Gym will have a World Champ soon. Keep supporting us and we will not disappoint you guys.”

Vinny Scolpino: “To date, Ortiz has two professional fights under his belt. I was present for both. In his pro debut he came back from a knock down and ended up winning by TKO in the 1st. During his second fight he was matched up against one of my fighters from Hartford, Jonathan Figueroa. I was impressed with the improvements Ortiz and his trainer, Cesar Cruz made for this fight and Ortiz’s increased skills since his pro debut. I feel Ortiz is one tough kid and really shows the desire and hunger to get to the top. I have him booked for his next fight on a CES undercard against Cristobel Marrero. I believe in Ortiz's talent and commitment and I’m pleased with the team that is in place consisting of Marvin Puchan and his head trainer, Cesar."
