VMS MANAGEMENT, INC INKS SUPER BANTAMWEIGHT LUIS “PANCHO” SANTIAGO TO A MANAGEMENT DEAL.

Oakland, NJ (November 8, 2016) – Vinny Scolpino of VMS Management, Inc. is pleased to announce the signing of another amateur boxer from Western Massachusetts super bantamweight Luis “Pancho” Santiago of Springfield, Massachusetts to an exclusive management contract.

Pancho is a well-known 21 year old amateur fighter from Western Massachusetts who fights out of Old School Boxing Gym and has been kept very busy with over 70 amateur fights. He has won the 2011 Silver Gloves and 2011 regionals, he is a 3x Junior Olympics champ from 2009 to 2012 and regional champ from 2009 to 2012. He was also a winner in the 2013 PALs.

Pancho Santiago said, “I'm a solid 122 pounder who is ready to make a statement in my weight class. I've accomplished a lot in my amateur days I'm ready to make bigger waves and bigger accomplishments in my pro career”.

Jerry Luis Santiago, his father and trainer said, “I am very proud of Pancho and to be a part of his team. I have been in his corner all his life. This is the moment we have been waiting for”.

Vinny Scolpino said, “I am very pleased to have signed another fighter from the Springfield, Massachusetts area to a long term management deal. I am looking to move Pancho Santiago into the right fights to push him to the top. As of right now we do not have a scheduled fight but are looking at potential fights in the beginning of 2017. His style of fighting is aggressive and explosive. He will give his weight class some great opposition“.
