“Willie Pep Invitational” Amateur Boxing Event - Tickets are on Sale Now!


[Hartford, Connecticut] On Saturday, October 15, 2016, McHugh, Chapman & Vargas, LLC present the first amateur boxing show hosted by USA Boxing, Connecticut division entitled “Willie Pep Invitational” at the Bond Ballroom, 338 Asylum Street, Hartford, CT 06103. Featured on this amazing card will be many local, known amateur boxers from the New England area along with fighters from as far away as Pennsylvania which include the following:

Jason Conception, the treasurer of USA Boxing spoke to me about this event and stated, “This is our inaugural annual fundraiser for USA Boxing Connecticut. We are featuring the best amateur boxers in the Northeast showcasing them in front of a who's who of Connecticut business elite, boxing luminaries, commissioners, world sanctioning bodies, and promoters from far and wide.”

Tickets: For a tax deductible donation of just $75.00 which can be purchased in advance by calling 860-334-6853. Once you purchase our ticket you will need to show it to LAZ parking attendant for complementary parking across the street at the Bond Ballroom / Homewood Suites or tickets can also be purchased at the door. Please dress to impress.

Doors open at 5:00 pm for their cocktail hour. Dinner follows at 6:00 pm and amateur boxing matches start at 7:30 pm. Commentators will be Phil Giubileo and Iceman John Scully.
