VMS MANAGEMENT, INC INKS SUPER LIGHTWEIGHT JONATHAN “SMOOTH” FIGUEROA TO A MANAGEMENT DEAL.

Hartford, CT – Vinny Scolpino of VMS Management, Inc. is pleased to announce the signing of 24 year old amateur Super Lightweight Jonathan “Smooth” Figueroa of Hartford, Connecticut to an exclusive management contract on Tuesday, August 2, 2016.
Scolpino secured Figueroa's pro debut on Thursday, September 1, 2016 with his first professional fight against an opponent yet to be determined at Foxwoods Resort & Casino. Figueroa will have tickets in hand and you can reach him via his facebook page.
Figueroa is a well-known amateur fighter who has a total of 45 fights, 35 wins and 10 losses and won the 2012 Golden Glove championship and is currently training out of Hartford PAL.
Jonathan Figueroa said, “I'm very excited about turning pro. I’ve been waiting for this moment for a long time. I'm thankful that my dad had spoken with Vinny Scolpino. He was a great fit for me and my team. Once I know more details of my pro debut I’ll keep everyone updated.”

I’m pleased to have signed Jonathan Figueroa to a management contract that represents the new up-and-coming talent in Connecticut.
